Congratulations Class 1
We’re thrilled to announce the induction on the first Jasper Leadership class. This dedicated group of 11 community-minded individuals has taken the initiative to lead, connect, and enhance our community.
In February 2024, they embarked on a 10-month journey to become more involved and engaged with the community. During the sessions, they reflected on their leadership values and strengthened their leadership skills.

The vision
Jasper Leadership was designed with a vision to foster community leaders who engage with purpose and build connections. Through monthly sessions, participants gain new perspectives, skills, and relationships that will help shape the community for the future.
Team projects
A key component to the Jasper Leadership program is the group project. These projects allow the participants to apply their leadership skills and work together to make a real difference in the community.
Each project emphasizes service, connection and a commitment to the community. We are excited to see the lasting impact of their hard work.
Neighbors Helping Neighbors
Jamie Davis, Roderick Manion, Jimmy Stevens, Jeff Swain
This group connects with local businesses and nonprofits to understand their needs and support their efforts. The group’s goal is to foster a network of mutual aid within the community by identifying local resources for collaboration as well as continuous information sharing to add to what is already established.
Friends with Furniture

This group is connecting residents who have furniture to donate with local nonprofits and churches that can distribute these items to those in need. Through their initiative, they’re helping bridge the gap for families who need essential furnishings.
Pedal Forward
Ashley Ivey, Joe Jenkins
Dedicated to supporting the Pedal Forward organization, this team organized a donation drive and fundraiser to collect new and gently used bikes, along with funds for safety gear and bike accessories. Their efforts will provide essential resources for this impactful organization.
