Join our Warm Welcome Committee, a dynamic resident group committed to fostering connections and building a strong sense of belonging for new residents. As a committee member, you play a pivotal role in making our neighborhood a home for everyone.
Our mission
At Jasper, our goal is to establish a connection with every resident. An effective welcome program enables us to proactively communicate with new residents, providing them with the necessary and appropriate information they need upon move in as well as creating the first opportunity for engagement in the new community they are now calling home.
Warm welcome process
When you learn a new neighbor has moved into Jasper, as a committee member you will:
- Introduce yourself in person and welcome them to Jasper.
- Give them your contact information on a Jasper Warm Welcome Committee card.
- Set up a time to drop off their welcome gift and invitation to an upcoming New Neighbor Mixer.
- Encourage your new neighbors to register on jasperresidents.com to access important resident-only information and stay up to date on events and activities.
Your role
As a committee member, you’ll actively participate in shaping the warm welcome experience. Your responsibilities include:
- Attending quarterly committee meetings: Engage in collaborative discussions to enhance our welcome process.
- Facilitating the warm welcome process: Be a catalyst for building connections and creating a positive first experience for new neighbors.
- New Neighbor Mixers: Attend at least two gatherings per year to personally greet and integrate new members into our community.
- Educational Workshops: Attend at least one learning opportunity per year to better understand the needs of our diverse community.
- Annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon: Join in celebrating the contributions of our dedicated volunteers.
- Cultivate experiences: Lead engagement opportunities to increase neighbor-to-neighbor connection.
- Be a positive voice: Serve as a champion of the community.
