Know the rules for rentals
Short-term rentals are prohibited in Jasper — the minimum lease for a rental property is six consecutive months. Further, a home cannot be rented out during the first 12 months of ownership. Homes in neighborhood 2E (JP7, lots 599-652) are excluded from the 12 month waiting period.
Each time a new lease is signed, the homeowner or property management company must submit the new tenant registration form to alert the association. Once submitted, the tenant will receive an email invitation to register for the resident website.
