Aleshia Michels, Jasper’s new community operations coordinator, is motivated by helping people and enhancing efficiency. She elevates the Community Life team with her experience in problem-solving and education.
Her role involves coordinating the team’s operational needs and managing asset maintenance and services to ensure Jasper properties remain in peak condition. Inspired by the authenticity of the Community Life team, she is excited to contribute to Cohere, resident life and the beautiful location.
In both her professional and personal life, Aleshia enjoys tackling projects that promote purpose. One of her proudest accomplishments is a presentation she created for Special Olympians at a habilitation school. She loved how the presentation, including music and images, brought joy to the students it was designed for.
Aleshia’s passion for people and creativity aligns with Jasper’s vision and core values. As she grows in her position, she looks forward to producing positive progress through every aspect of her work. She is eager to deepen her understanding of Jasper and support the community as it thrives.
Fun facts
Hometown: Born in Buckeye, AZ — Current home is Cordes Junction.
Family: Three grown children — A boy and two girls.
Pets: Two German Shepherds (Murdoch and McKenzie), two ducks (Ricky and Lucy), one chicken (Henrietta) and one love bird (Chirp). Her next addition to her unlikely herd will be a donkey, and she is planning to name it “Donkey.”
Hobbies: Growing her large garden, including her grapevines and fruit trees. Aleshia also enjoys attending Bible study.
Interesting fact: Aleshia’s first job was as an automotive body and paint technician. Until about five years ago, she performed all the mechanical work on her own vehicles.
