Let’s say you see a sprinkler gone awry in the community landscape. Or something amiss at the dog park. What do you do? Who do you tell? There’s a quick, easy, and fully online community concern form that’s your best bet. You’ll need to include your contact info, Jasper address, and details about your concern (photos, too, if you can).
Once you hit submit a ticket will be created to help ensure your concern is trackable and then it will be assigned to the Jasper Community Life team. You’ll get an email confirmation of your submission, and in a timely manner — two business days at most, but often sooner — the team will reach out to you with info on how the concern will be addressed.
Why should I submit the form?
Jasper is a vibrant, growing community so we need everyone’s help when it comes to maintaining your neighborhood’s unique character and high-quality standards. As a resident, you’re out in the community. You’re our eyes and ears. And you can help report community concerns that require the attention of the Jasper Community Association. Plus, upholding Jasper’s undeniable curb appeal is what will keep your home value high.
When should I submit the form?
Here are a few common scenarios when it’s best to submit one.
Dog park & community landscape
If you see something amiss out in the community, whether it’s at the dog park or in a community-maintained landscape area, use the community concern form to let us know.
Compliance
While it’s best practice to chat with your neighbor first, if you need help with a compliance violation (let’s say your neighbor has now stationed their 40-foot RV right in front of your house), let us know via a community concern.
Keep in mind, it’s Arizona law (ARS 33-1242 and 33-1803) that any complaint submitted to the community association cannot be made anonymously. If you’re reporting a violation, you’ll need to include your first and last name which could be shared with the involved party.
When is the form not appropriate?
This is a biggie, because not every issue is right for a community concern.
First, if something needs tending to at the J Club, don’t submit the form. Instead, let a J Club team member know next time you’re there or call the front desk at 928-857-2890. Why you ask? The J Club is a private amenity, so it’s not a part of the Jasper Community Association.
If you spot street issues, like potholes, you’ll need to contact Prescott Valley’s public works department. For barking dog complaints, follow this procedure. For street lights that are out, submit this APS online form.
It’s important to note, if you have a safety concern or feel that you or someone else may be in danger, always call 9-1-1.
