The Travel Club of Jasper unites neighbors who share a passion for exploration both near and far from home.

What inspired you to launch the Travel Club of Jasper?
A love of travel, of course! Listening to the stories of others’ travels is always helpful and inspiring.
What is the mission of the group?
The Travel Club of Jasper was formed with two main goals. The first goal is to help coordinate travel opportunities for members of the Jasper community. Many who move to Jasper are new to northern Arizona. Our hope is to plan excursions that connect neighbors to one another and connect us all to the beautiful state of Arizona.
The second goal is to provide a space for neighbors to share their travels with others by highlighting places around the globe they have visited. We want to involve as many members as possible who are willing to share their experiences at our monthly meetings.
How often does the group meet?
Our regular club meetings happen once a month on the third Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the J Club living room. In addition to the monthly meetings, we hope to plan a group outing every other month.
Our first outing was to the Verde Canyon Railroad in November 2023. Our next outing is to the Bronzesmith Fine Art Foundry & Gallery on March 7.
Who can join the club and how can they connect with you?
Anyone who lives in Jasper is welcome and encouraged to join our monthly meetings and group outings. The only thing needed to take part is an interest in learning about places to travel — nearby, in other states, and abroad.
