Fall enchantment fills the air
A sense of magic was on the breeze as neighbors arrived at this year’s Fall Frolic. The community came together for an evening of celebration, sharing cherished traditions alongside fresh experiences.
Local jazz band, King Copper, brought smooth beats to the Grand Lawn, while adults enjoyed drinks from Superb and local beer samples from Wren House.
Children and families got creative at the pumpkin decorating station on Wilkinson Courtyard. Face painting, a balloon twister and a bounce house were also sources of joy for the little ones.
Giving from the heart
Kris and Greg Venhaus, co-founders of Heartland Ranch, gave a speech on their important work to help child trafficking victims.
Jasper will be running a campaign through Oct. 12 to promote Heartland Ranch donations. Your donation will support building a place that is safe and nurturing for children who have been trafficked. Learn more and donate on their website.
Tastes of sugar and spice
Attendees enjoyed a colorful spread of complimentary chips, guacamole and salsas prepared by Superb Food Co. Those who ordered the Harvest Supper buffet indulged in even more Superb flavors, including zesty entrees and sides, as well as churros and horchata pudding for dessert.
Entertainment that ignited
The awe began with two festively dressed stilt walkers mingling with attendees. Interacting with children and moving with elegance, the performers received abundant compliments.
The evening finished with sparks, as a dramatic fire performance lit up the Grand Lawn. From dancing to sword fighting, onlookers of all ages were captivated. Topping it all off, the performers offered a special “fire bubble” experience, bringing delight to a large group of participants.
