Meet your Jasper Community Association
A thriving community is built on the dedication of it’s stakeholders. At the heart of every well-managed community, you’ll find a group of committed individuals who help steer the ship. Meet the three individuals who make up your Jasper Community Association (JCA) board of directors. They’re the driving force behind the decisions that impact Jasper, and they’re here to ensure our community remains a wonderful place to call home. Get to know their names, positions, and what they are passionate about.
Michelle Fry, director and board president
- Administrative services specialist, Arizona Eco Development
- Property manager, Retail and Community Development Projects
- NorCom, designated broker
Michelle is an integral team member of Arizona Eco Development (AED) and has served in multiple capacities during her 20-year tenure with the company. Currently, she oversees daily business operations for AED and is the acting property manager for several planned communities under developer control. She is also a designated broker and active realtor for both residential and commercial properties.
Originally from Minnesota, Michelle moved to the Valley of the Sun in 1988. She eventually settled in the Prescott area. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two adult children, cooking, and tending to her own personal menagerie of wild animals – three curious felines and two spoiled pooches.
Rick Chepeus, director
- Chief financial officer, Arizona Eco Development
- Financial director, Bright Star Development
Rick is a native of Phoenix, Arizona and a third-generation Arizonan. He has an extensive background working in the real estate industry. Since 1999, he as specialized in managing and developing properties throughout the quad-cites area.
Rick’s career began with managing a portfolio of properties in downtown Phoenix. He later moved on to developing planned communities, multi-family and retail developments. Over time, his focus shifted to acquisition analysis and managing all finished aspects of commercial properties and master-planned communities.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Rick is a proud father and grandfather. He graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Civil Engineering. Go Sun Devils!
Tom Wilson, director
- Corporate counsel, Arizona Eco Development
Tom is from Riverside, California, where he currently resides. He holds a BA in economics from Yale and a JD from Boalt Hall, University of California, Berkley.
After graduating from law school, Tom worked as a litigation attorney for a firm in Los Angeles. He eventually left the firm to work with his brother in their family business growing organic navel oranges in Riverside. The Wilson family has been in the orange business for over 100 years.
At the request of longtime friend Stuart Swanson, AED Chairman, Tom joined AED as corporate council in 1995. Tom’s zest for life is as refreshing as the organic navel oranges he grows!
