A perfect day for fun and connection
With perfect weather — warm but not hot, and a light breeze to keep things comfortable — guests of all ages gathered for an afternoon of autumn delights.
The fall festivities were plentiful. At the pumpkin decorating station, creativity overflowed with unique designs. Kids could be spotted showing off their brightly painted faces while running and playing on the Grand Lawn. Adults had their own fun sampling seasonal beers and selecting their favorite to be added to the Bar + Grill’s tap.
Superb Food Co’s savory spread of food was the highlight of the event. The pork barbeque and shrimp boil were accompanied by seasonal sides and salads. With gluten free and vegetarian options, there was something suitable for everyone to enjoy.
Eight contestants battled for top honors in the chili cook-off. Chris Sweitzer’s elk chili took home the prize. Attendees who sampled found it was hard to pick just one — they were all so delicious.
Prior to the start of the event, Jasper Originals gathered for a social. Neighbors who moved into Jasper between 2019 and July 2023 reconnected and received their long-awaited welcome gift.
The Lisa Mitts band brought life to the Grand Lawn with their blend of hit cover songs and original tracks. Attendees gathered around the stage on blankets and chairs taking in the beautiful scenery and listing to the tunes.
